De’Lizabeth Fragrant Candles was formed in 2005 through a blossoming friendship and sisterhood that led to a business venture which continues to thrive successfully. Sixty-seven-year-old former engineer and lawyer Willie L. Leftwich has been practicing pottery for 6 years. While still new to the art, Leftwich credits pottery with saving his life. After a very fulfilling and gratifying career, Leftwich was diagnosed with cancer on Martin Luther King., Jr. Day in 1995, and quickly started to take a different outlook on the world.




Lisa Comfort Bradford...
Is a native Washingtonian and attended public schools in LeDroit Park, a nationally recognized historical district. In 1991, she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, in Radio, Television, and Film Production, from Howard University, also in the District of Columbia. In her quest to be elected as Ward 4 City Council, in May 2007, Lisa pledges to work tirelessly to represent the interests of the 14 neighborhoods that comprise Ward 4 for the express purpose of improving the quality of life for its citizens. She vows to be a staunch promoter and advocate for preeminent education in public schools, development activities & improvement training programs for youth, enhanced and efficient delivery of services for seniors, and a safer district. Lisa believes strong families make stronger communities.

 King & King Athletic Association have a history of quality service and sponsorships in the greater Washington metropolitan area. We have derived from ex-players, referees, and now owners. We have serviced the Washington area for over two years in the areas of co-ed flag football, co-ed/male basketball, co-ed volleyball, and co-ed softball. Our league has grown each season by more than 15%, which has lead to corporate backing by the likes of Skyline Sport and Health Club, Clarendon Grill, and The Saint. Our goal is to continue to provide superb service and provide a median for family activities in a recreational environment.
